- Use the lamp with compatible electrical equipment. Use only UL and CSA approved choke.
- Keep the lamp from direct contact with rain, sleet or snow to avoid breakage due to temperature change.
- Mount the lamp firmly but without excessive force in the holder to reduce vibration.
- Do not use excessive force to avoid breaking the bulb. This is a vacuum insulated lamp and can burst.
- Replace the bulb if it is scratched, cracked or damaged.
- Turn off the lamp and allow it to cool before moving to avoid possible electric shock or burns. As a safety measure, wear goggles when installing or removing the lamp.
- Replace the lamp at the end of its life cycle.
